CCC SENIOR ADULT MINISTRY

Rescheduled: LONGHORNS HEAD TO TAIL TOURS: Tuesday, October 17th

The Dickinson Cattle Company Longhorn Ranch provides a home to BueLingo, Texas Longhorn, and African Watusi cattle herds. Guests may purchase special cow-candy at the store prior to the tour. Cameras and Videos are welcomed and encouraged. We will lunch at Theo’s in Cambridge on the way home. We will leave CCC at 9:00 a.m. Please sign up at the office by Sunday, September 11th.

Saturday, October 14th: Annual Senior Dinner Masquerade Ball

The Annual Senior Dinner Masquerade Ball, will be at 4:00 p.m., masks provided. NO costumes.  Music by Carry the Cost. Hairdressers available on site before dinner if you would like to have your hair curled/styled (no wash). RSVP is required. Sign up by October 10th at Welcome Desk.


CHURCH ON MISSION

STOWE MISSION                             

300 meals were served at the Stowe Baptist Center Soup Kitchen in September. Thank you: Bill Coulter, Randy and Joe Crawford, Jennie Cross, Tracy Reed, Diane Stefanic, Connie Walsh, and Jenifer Wilkerson for your love and service to God’s people. Three volunteers are needed every third Tuesday of the month at 10:00 a.m.  If you wish to donate towards the cost of providing meals, please indicate “Stowe” on your donations.  All your efforts are deeply appreciated.

MEXICO MISSION ADVENTURE: January 5 - 12, 2018

We will partner with two churches and the Salvation Army that provide school lunches to children, interact with orphans, children with handicaps, and those in nursing homes. We will assist with ESL, make quilts for families, and distribute rice and beans. Contact Betty Brown (614-442-8999)

Chad Pumpelly was called to be the new pastor of the Crossing Community Church by an overwhelming majority vote of the congregation. Pastor Chad assumed preaching duties on Sunday, July 9th. Please welcome Chad, his wife Miriam and children, Anya, Ethan, Isaac and Omara to Ohio. This is the beginning of an exciting new journey for the Pumpelly family and Crossing Community Church!
